Love Score & 16 Types

28 questions. Your love score and your 16-type love style, in one result.

Love advice usually picks one lane: what type you are, or whether you're any good at this. The useful answer is the product of the two. Two people with the same type end up in very different places depending on how well they hold a relationship together, and two people with the same score need completely different partners. This takes 28 questions and measures both separately. The first 20 find your love style (one of 16 types). The last 8 produce your love score. The score isn't a ranking of people — it's where you currently stand on the skill of building and keeping a relationship. Which means it moves.

Frequently asked questions

What does the love score actually measure?

Not how good a person you are — the habits that build and sustain a relationship. The final eight questions look at self-disclosure, repair after a fight, checking what your partner needs, saying no, handling your own anxiety, respecting their separate life, keeping attention alive, and learning from your past. It's scaled so 50 is the average, so 55 reads as slightly above average.

Is this MBTI® or 16Personalities?

No. MBTI® is a trademark of The Myers-Briggs Company and 16Personalities belongs to NERIS Analytics; this quiz is unaffiliated with either. It takes the widely used four-letter indicators, writes its own questions for a romantic context, and every type name here is original to this quiz. Your result may not match an official MBTI® assessment.

Which matters more — the type or the score?

They differ in whether you can change them. Your type is the shape of how you love; no shape is better than another. The score is skill, so it rises when you actually start doing the things you didn't pick in the last eight questions. Type decides who fits you. Score decides whether it lasts.

My score came out low. Should I be worried?

No. A low score is usually unprocessed experience rather than a lack of ability. If you picked "can't say no", "the anxiety shows" or "haven't looked back", changing that one thing moves the number a long way. The paid section gives you the specific move for your type.

How many questions, and how long does it take?

28 questions, about five minutes. The first 20 determine your 16-type love style and the last 8 measure your love score. Both the type and the score are free to see.
